The Los Angeles Valiant Roster Exists, You Might Have Just Missed It

The mystery is over and the leaks appear to have been correct. The Los Angeles Valiant do intend to field a roster for the 2023 season, and it will make its debut at the Overwatch League Pro-Am. The Valiant did not make the usual roster announcement like every other org out there. They opted for a more, let’s say, guerrilla approach to revealing their squad. Late on Tuesday March 21, Alex “Seeker” Taylor hopped onto Twitch to stream some games of Overwatch 2 and titled his stream – “LA Valiant Seeker | I am on the LA Valiant Hey”. The second-year DPS player appeared to have announced himself.

Soon after the stream went live, the rest of the 2023 Valiant roster updated their Twitter profiles to reveal a MS Paint-created LAV banner. A Reddit post containing a screenshot of each player appeared early morning on Wednesday March 22 – just a day before the Pro-Am. According this all this, the 2023 Los Angeles Valiant roster consists of the following players.

DPS: Alex “Seeker” Taylor, Brandon “N2S” Zepeda
Tank: Domenic “Krawi” Akrawi
Support: William “Lyar” Ohlstein, Christopher “Cjay” Smith
Player/Coach: Nolan “Paintbrush” Edwards

An exciting moment for those entering the league for the first time that was sadly squashed by an organization that doesn’t care.

The Valiant notable have signed players that were scheduled to play in the Pro-Am tournament with their respective Contenders teams. Krawi, Lyar, and Cjay all were ready to face off against OWL teams until they suddenly swapped sides. This will be the second time Seeker, Krawi and Paintbrush have reached the Overwatch League, with Lyar, N2S and Cjay joining for their rookie season.

The Valiant have quite the uphill battle this season as they have a massive amount of ground to make up against the rest of the field.
