Texans Agree to Deal With Braden Smith

Publish Date: March 10, 2026

The Houston Texans have agreed to a deal with free agent tackle Braden Smith, according to Dianna Russini.

Smith, 29, is a right tackle who has played his entire eight-year career with the Indianapolis Colts. He has started 105 out of 107 career games played.

Houston is looking to upgrade their offensive line after trading Laremy Tunsil before last season and sending Juice Scruggs to the Lions as part of the trade that netted them running back David Montgomery.
