The 2026 NFL Draft will be a great event for teams to start building for their future. Here is the Christen Miller NFL Draft Profile.
Position: Interior Defensive Line
School: Georgia
Size: 6-foot-4, 321 Pounds
Class: Redshirt Junior
2025 stats: 23 total tackles, 4 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks
Miller was a four-star recruit in the class of 2022 who decided to stay in the state of Georgia to play for the Bulldogs. He played in four games in his first season, preserving his redshirt season. In 2023, Miller had 14 total tackles, four tackles for loss and one sack in a larger role. He started most of the 2024 season, registering 27 total tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks. His play helped the team win 11 games and make the CFP. In 2025, he had 23 total tackles four tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks. He led the Bulldogs to a 12-win season and another appearance in the CFP.
After the CFP exit, Miller declared for the 2026 NFL Draft. He is currently projected to be a first or second-round pick.
Miller has good size and measurables for an interior defensive lineman. He measured in at 6-foot-4 and 321 pounds at the NFL combine, which will have him fit right in on the interior. Miller can add more mass if asked to play as a nose tackle in a three-man front. With his size comes good strength and length, as he has 33-inch arms.
He provides great run defense for an NFL team. Miller has the ability to two-gap at times and open up his teammates to make plays on the ball. In one-on-one situations, he is able to defeat his blocker and make some plays on the ball. Even if he can’t make the play, his participation opens up the rest
He has heavy hands that pack a jolt into offensive linemen. Miller’s hands can help him shed because they are so forceful. They are also pretty quick, so that he is able to get his hands on offensive linemen before they can get their hands on him. His hand usage could lead to early success in his career.
While Miller has the size to play on the interior, he can struggle against double teams. Miller struggles to split them and make plays, but he could also hold his ground better. He can add strength to his frame to help with double teams, but he can also stay low and have better technique.
There are times when Miller can vacate his gap. It doesn’t happen all the time, but runners are able to pick up on it at times to gain extra yardage. Sometimes, even when he does execute his assignment, he can lose sight of the ball, which makes it hard for him to make plays.
Miller had limited pass-rush production in college. He did have a solid pass rush win rate, but didn’t always convert that in to sacks. Miller can work on refining his pass-rush moves, but he may end up being a player who doesn’t play on obvious passing downs all the time.
Projected Draft Range: First Round Pick-Second Round Pick
