Predicting the East All-Stars for the 2022-2023 NBA Season Part Three

Publish Date: August 31, 2022

This is the last installment of predicting the East All-Stars for the 2022-2023 NBA season part three. This article will go over the final four All-Stars predictions. Who will be the last four potential players? This is predicting the East All-Stars for the 2022-2023 NBA season part three.

East All-Stars: 76ers C Joel Embiid

How could this article series not include the runner-up for MVP last year? Embiid is going to feast this year as he is in the prime of his career. Despite being very injury-prone, he has put up some elite numbers ever since being drafted. Last year, he put up some very nice averages of 30.6 points, 11.7 boards, 4.2 boards, 1.1 steals, and1.5 blocks on 50% from the field, 37% from three and 81% from the line. The guy is going to continue playing minutes in the mid-30’s due to his sheer dominance and the 76ers lack of depth in the frontcourt. Since this is the case, expect Embiid to be in the race for MVP for a second-straight year.

East All-Stars: Bucks PF Giannis Antetokounmpo

Another MVP finalist from last year, the Greak Freak will more than likely secure a spot on the All-Star team this year. He has been one of the best players in the league for a while now and he has only gotten better each year. Last year, he averaged 29.9 points, 11.6 boards, 5.8 boards, 1.1 steals, 1.4 blocks, and 3.3 turnovers on 55% from the field, 29% from three, and 72% from the line. Antetokounmpo is one of the most players people have seen in recent memory. To this point, he is an NBA champion, Final’s MVP, two-time MVP, four-time All-NBA first team, defensive player of the year, four-time all-defensive first team, most improved player, and a six-time All-Star. Expect him to make the All-Star team this year.

East All-Stars: Heat C Bam Adebayo

Bam Bam, chicken and ham! Adebayo will make the All-Star team this year due to more opportunities in the frontcourt. The departure of PJ Tucker gives him a tiny bit more touches, but it’s not like Tucker was siphoning his usage rate or anything. Adebayo is still only 25 years old, so he is barely even in his prime yet. Last year, he averaged a career-high 19.1 points, 10.1 boards, 3.4 assists, 1.4 steals, and 0.8 blocks on 56% from the field and 75% from the line. If he can stay healthy this season, he could improve upon these numbers easily.

East All-Stars: 76ers SG James Harden

Harden is another perennial All-Star candidate that should not be left out. He had a “down” year last year, but still put in averages of 22 points, 7.7 boards, 10.3 dimes, 1.3 steals, 0.6 blocks, and 4.4 turnovers on 41% from the field, 30% from three and 88% from the line. The percentages were lacking, and the turnovers were also very high. Still, Harden is one of the best shot-creating guards this league has ever seen. His uncanny ability to draw fouls and his savvy playstyle are almost unmatched. With all of this in mind, he will more than likely make the All-Star team this year alongside Embiid. Hopefully this 76ers team can get it together.
