The time is nearly here. The Bandle City expansion is just around the corner, and players are already donning their Teemo hats in preparation for the occasion. The newest expansion, titled Beyond the Bandlewood, was announced to arrive sometime in August of 2021. But on Wednesday August 11, Riot Games announced the official release date for their new region of Bandle City.

According to the end of the animated short, August 25 is the Beyond the Bandlewood release date. Beyond the Bandlewood features brand new cards centered around Bandle City, the home of the yordles. In this expansion players can expect over 100 new cards, along with 9 new champions. Beyond the Bandlewood also serves as the last expansion to introduce a brand new region. For the time being, Bandle City will be the last new region to enter Legends of Runeterra.

Players can get excited knowing that in the coming weeks there will be card reveals almost every other day. These card reveals allow players to get theory crafting early. Beyond the Bandlewood will also feature a brand new mechanic in multi-region cards. These multi-region cards will undoubtedly reshape the meta, as they allow for players to mix-and-match regions like never before.
With all new followers, champions, and keywords, Bandle City is ready to bring the fun to Legends of Runterra. As the card reveals pile in, make sure to have those crafting gems ready to play the brand new decks on day one.
