Legends of Runeterra and its development team have been content machines since the game came out. Now a little more than a year after its release, Legends of Runeterra will be getting one of the most asked for elements to the game, champion skins. Here is a look at the skins being added to the game and how to get them.

Here is what the dev team has to say about the Legends of Runeterra Champion Skins.
“Champion skins are a new way to personalize your favorite decks. Equipping a champion with a skin will alter the art for all copies of each of that champion’s levels, as well as their accompanying flavor text. Some skins can even the appearance of a champion’s summoned units, and can even grant entirely new level-up animations. Each skin’s effects are listed out on their Store page, so players can see exactly what they’ll change before making a purchase.”
This will certainly make it interesting as having different effects and animations are a whole new area where the LoR development team cant make this game unique. It makes it likely that this will be only the beginning in terms of skins coming to Legends of Runeterra.
Now the question becomes, will these skins cross between the three major franchises of Riot Games? Will these skins head to League of Legends or Wild Rift? And will the opposite happen where skins from those games come to Legends of Runeterra. It will certainly be something worth watching for as these games continue to progress.
