The LCS playoffs have returned with some major surprises. Each of these teams will be duking it out to not only win an LCS Championship but also to get the chance to go to MSI. Here are the LCS Picks for Playoffs Round 1 of the 2023 Spring Split.

Overall Pick Record for 2023: 63-27
Pick Record from LCS 2023 Spring Week 8: 9-6
FLY vs. 100T
This is a much harder series to predict than many may have thought a few weeks ago. Both teams have played extremely well at different points of the season. The reason for this prediction though is a bit of recency bias. FlyQuest have struggled, going 3-3 in their last six games with two losses to C9. While 100T have rattled off seven straight wins. With Doublelift playing as well as he is and 100 Thieves coming in with a lot of confidence they win a close series.
CLG vs. C9
Of all the matchups this should be the easiest one to predict. Cloud9 have been the best team this Split and one of the most consistent even with the change in the Mid Lane. They are a strong team but so are CLG, especially when they are playing their style. The problem is that they have been a bit inconsistent. This series goes the way of Cloud9 but look for CLG to make it interesting.
GG vs. FLY
At one point it looked like Golden Guardians were well on their way to one of the most surprising Splits in recent memory. Then it all came crashing down. GG went 2-5 in their last seven games and struggled to find any consistency from most of their players. FlyQuest are just too good to bow out this early and should make quick work of the Guardians.
EG vs. CLG
Another close and fun series should this reality happen. Evil Geniuses should be one of the best teams in the LCS but they struggled to beat teams that they are clearly better than. They went 1-1 against every team other than TSM who they 2-0’ed. Then there is CLG who came on strong at the end of the Split to find themselves in fourth. In the end, EG are the more talented team and having the clutch factor from Inspired will help them scrape by into the next round.
