The League of Legends skin team continues to announce and release very strong skins to start 2026. The second Act of Season 1 has almost arrived. Here is a look at the Corrupted Petricite LoL Skins, which will be added for two interesting champions.

These new Corrupted Petricite skins look intimidating.
The Petricite is clearly there but it looks like something from the Void has taken them over. It will be interesting to see how this plays into the current story of League of Legends. Does this connect with Xin Zhao’s sacrifice and the arrival of Zaheen?
For Maokai and Xerath, the white stone suits them well. As well as the corruption that surrounds them. These will likely be very popular skins upon release.
They will be earnable on the Battle Pass so make sure you are getting your games in. That being said, you will have plenty of time as this season has not started yet and then you will have a few months after to get them.
These skins were announced a little earlier than normal. You will see them with LoL Patch 26.05 on Wednesday, March 4, 2026.
There is a chance they are released later but generally, the League of Legends dev team uploads skins on the PBE the patch before they release. This is mainly to check for bugs and make sure that there is nothing that they missed.
