Best 3 Rebuild Teams in MLB The Show 26 | Trades Galore!

Publish Date: March 13, 2026

MLB The Show 26 has arrived, and with it, all-new challenges. The trade market in-game has been overhauled along with the Ai and its decision-making. With that in mind, who are the three Best Teams to Rebuild in MLB The Show 26?

3 Rebuild Teams MLB The Show 26

When picking the three Rebuild Teams for MLB The Show 26, it was easy to go based on how difficult each would be. We will have them ranked accordingly, from easiest to hardest to rebuild with. All three will be teams that you should rebuild but some are more straightforward than others.

Sacramento/Las Vegas A’s (Easy)

It is crazy to say this, but the A’s are in a great spot, at least offensively.

Their pitching has Luis Severino and not a whole lot else. For this rebuild, you will need to trade from your lineup depth to get pitching and use the extra money you have to get them in free agency, too. If you make the right decisions, then you can easily turn this team around.

The issue is that you are in a tough division with the Astros, Mariners and Ranges who are all strong teams.

While it may take a year or two, the A’s have a lot of potential and could be a quick turnaround for those who are new to rebuilding teams in MLB The Show.

St. Louis Cardinals (Medium)

The Cardinals have already started their rebuild. They traded Willson Contreras, Nolan Arenado and Brendan Donovan this offseason and are hoping their young guys start to come into their own.

St. Louis’ biggest issue is that they do not have as many players to trade and some of their best prospects are still a couple of years away. Patience will be key with this rebuild but some savvy moves and better development could turn things around.

If the young guys you already have don’t develop, though, this could easily become one of the toughest rebuilds in the game.

Los Angelas Angels (Hard)

There may not be a team in a worse spot than the LA Angels. Truthfully, it is hard not to be sad for the fans of this franchise.

They have terrible contracts galore with aging players. These players are not good enough to make a dent in the tough division they are in and no one wants most of their players. Oh, and did we mention their farm system is pretty bad?

Yeah, this is a very tough rebuild and one that will easily take a few years to get off the ground. With teams like the A’s on the rise and the rest of the AL West in a solid position, there is a chance this very expensive and below-average Angels team starts off as the worst in their division.
