Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1 is finally here for players to enjoy and explore. Following the heels of the Fortnite OG Season, the battle royale is coming off some pretty high momentum. With this new Chapter, there have been a lot of gameplay and graphical changes such as new POIs, weapons, characters, and so much more. One of the newest features added is Auras, so what exactly are Auras in Fortnite?

While players aren’t able to access Auras in Fortnite, the tab for it can still be seen in the player locker. The newest battle pass doesn’t include any Auras so some players are confused as to what they are and what they do. Luckily Fortnite data miners such as @iFireMonkey can access Auras in the game files and tell players what exactly they do. Auras will work and can only be purchased for the Fortnite Festival game mode that will be released soon. According to iFireMonkey, when Auras are used they will show up on your character in the background during streaks/during Overdrive. This happens when you get all the notes right in a song. Fortnite Festival is planned to come out on Saturday, December 9. The game mode will fairly resemble the Guitar Hero franchise as players will be tasked to match their button inputs to whatever song is playing.
