Gen.G Esports, after three years of establishment, opened an office in Jing’an District in Shanghai. Having started in Seoul, South Korea, then expanding to Los Angeles, this marks their third global office.
Gen.G plan on utilizing the office to facilitate local marketing alongside manage the Gen.G Tigers of Shanghai. This team, founded in September 2019, plays in the NBA 2k League. They hope to coordinate with the NBA 2k in order to grow the league, alongside building out their brand in China.

The office will be equipped with training rooms, relaxation areas, and streaming rooms. A safe haven for esports players, Gen.G’s office will provide a space for boot camps and away from home games. They plan on opening their facilities for other professional teams as well.
The company continues to work diligently to grow the next generation of e-sports players. Offering scholarships and investing in future players, Gen.G hopes to solidify the future of esports.
Previously known as KSV, they rebranded in May 2018. Founded in August 2017, Gen.G is a global esports company. With teams in Fortnite, League of Legends, Overwatch League, Battlegrounds, NBA 2k, and Counterstrike: Global Offensive, the company is rapidly growing.
