8 Deadlock Hero remodels fans should expect next

Publish Date: March 23, 2026

Deadlock’s latest gameplay update brought massive changes across the roster—but a handful of Heroes were noticeably left untouched. That’s sparked a growing conversation in the community around which characters are due for visual updates, and which might be getting full remodels next.

After taking another look at the patch and recent discussions, there are eight clear candidates.

Deadlock Hero Remodel List: Who Needs Updates Most

There’s a group of Deadlock Heroes that consistently come up when talking about visual polish and are ones that I would expect to get remodels for various reasons. Some need minor tweaks, while others feel like they’re lagging behind the current art direction entirely.

  • Viscous
  • Viper
  • Warden
  • Grey Talon
  • Bebop
  • Yamato
  • Mo & Krill
  • Sinclair

Viscous stands out as one of the most likely to receive a redesign. There have been older rumors about a new tourist look, and his current model feels a bit standard compared to newer heroes. A more nautical or deep-sea-inspired direction would better align with his lore.

Rumor: New Deadlock Neutral Objective in Development

Viper and Sinclair are the two biggest wildcards. Neither was touched in the recent patch, and both feel like candidates for more than just visual updates. Sinclair in particular has one of the most unique lore concepts in the game, and there’s room to push that further visually—or even mechanically.

Then you have Heroes like Warden and Mo & Krill, who haven’t changed much since early development. Their designs aren’t bad, but they don’t quite match the level of detail we’re seeing in newer additions.

Finally, Yamato feels like the most obvious full remodel candidate. Her current look, alongside Bebop and Grey Talon, all come directly from Neon Prime, Deadlock’s predecessor.

Overall, with gameplay systems stabilizing, it makes sense for Deadlock to shift toward bringing the entire roster up to the same visual standard—especially with a larger release potentially on the horizon.
